Enjoy a day of paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking or cycling, all within steps away. Or stroll the world-renowned Butchart Gardens and Butterfly World both being just a short drive by car. Explore the many local wineries and distilleries that are becoming internationally known and recognized.
Experience local cuisine using fresh farm produce at Cafe Zanzibar, 5-star oceanfront dining at Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa, try breakfast on patio at Seahorse’s Cafe next door, or better yet grab takeout at The Orient restaurant for authentic Chinese food.
I recently had the pleasure of calling Ocean Villa 3 my residence for a few days. The living area is stylishly appointed with all the comforts and necessities of home. It has a tremendous shower and bathroom with large cozy towels (and a heated floor). Cooking is certainly an option but as this was a business vacation I was happy to walk the 150 yards to the Brentwood Bay Inn where I was welcomed like a local and fed like a king.
